The community is invited to join “Scientist in the Spotlight” Sandy Frost 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Bradbury Science Museum as she discusses security and the internet of things.

Frost is an electrical and computer engineer who works as a solutions architect, developer and certified security specialist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She was inspired by her grandfather’s “love of learning” and hopes to inspire others to learn as well.

At the same time, author Whitney Spivey will be signing copies of her new children’s book, Goodnight, Los Alamos

The book, which features the Bradbury Science Museum, is illustrated by Los Alamos native Brenda Fleming, who also will be at the event to sign books. The books are hardcover, 36 pages, and can be purchased at the Bradbury’s Gadget gift shop for $20.

Fun activities for those of all ages.
